  2. I am not collecting them, but students are graded (over the course of the semester) on their contribution when we go over homework in class.

  4. The -at ending means that "he, she, it" or a noun in the sentence is the subject.

    Mater me amat = Mother loves me.

  5. First conjugation is a group of all the nouns whose stems end in a long a, such as amare or laborare.
